Traditionally worn for hunting in the snow, Canadian Aboriginals have been enjoying the warmth and comfort of Mukluk boots for hundreds of years.

At Muks, we have evolved this traditional boot into a range of stylish footwear loved by fashion followers the world over.

Muks boots and moccasins are Canadian by design. Every pair is unique and individually handcrafted to the highest quality. The unique bead designs and colours of Mukluks represent different tribes including Cree, Ojibiwa, Sioux and Dene.

The materials we use - natural skins and furs - draw their inspiration from the traditional dress of these native Canadian tribes. Fur and suede is an environmentally friendly choice: it's natural, biodegradable and renewable. Or you can choose our faux fur boots if you prefer.

Our crepe sole Mukluk boot is derived from the rubber tree also making it 100% natural. Our new and improved Muks branded water resistant sole in natural rubber provides durability and tread, while having either High Grade Fleece lining or sheepskin throughout for added warmth and comfort.

In homage to our forebears, we only use the finest materials when we handcraft each pair of boots or moccasins which means when you wear a pair of Muks, you enjoy the ultimate in comfort and style for your feet.

Jaime Cooke founded Muks in 2003 when demand for her unique and stylish Mukluk boots caused quite a stir - which eventually led to Kate Moss as Muks’ first customer. Since then, Kate Hudson, Elle Macpherson, Beyonce, Paris Hilton, Jennifer Lopez and a score of other celebrities have been discovering the essential comfort and style of Muks Mukluks.
